The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has announced the nominees for the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards, and Apple TV has picked up 89 nominations this year.

Among the highlights, Michael J. Fox received a nomination for his guest appearance in Shrinking, while Widow’s Bay earned the most nominations of any new series this year.

The nominations follow a strong performance last year, when Apple received a record 81 nominations and won 25 awards. The Studio led the way with 13 wins, including Best Comedy Series, while Severance picked up eight awards, including acting wins for Britt Lower and Tramell Tillman.

Apple’s original lineup is represented across several of the biggest Emmy categories this year.

Pluribus, Slow Horses, and Your Friends and Neighbors are nominated for Outstanding Drama Series, while Margo’s Got Money Troubles, Shrinking, and Murderbot received nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series.

Apple also received multiple acting nominations.

Gary Oldman earned a Lead Actor in a Drama Series nomination for Slow Horses, while Rhea Seehorn was nominated for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for Pluribus.

In comedy categories, Elle Fanning received a Lead Actress nomination for Margo’s Got Money Troubles, while Jason Segel earned a Lead Actor nomination for Shrinking. Harrison Ford, Jessica Williams, Michael Urie, and Michael J. Fox were also recognized for their performances in Apple TV shows.

Beyond the main drama and comedy categories, Palm Royale received nominations for choreography, production design, costumes, and hairstyling, while Foundation, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, and Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age landed nominations for visual effects.

Apple’s nonfiction lineup was also recognized, with Mr. Scorsese and The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy receiving nominations.

Apple also received nominations outside Apple TV, with Apple Music’s Super Bowl LX Halftime Show starring Bad Bunny nominated in multiple variety categories. Apple’s commercials A Critter Carol and I’m Not Remarkable were also nominated for Outstanding Commercial.

The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards will air live on September 14 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, with Mariska Hargitay hosting the ceremony.
