Birthday Cake in Fortnite: All locations in Battle Royale and OG modes

The event commemorating Fortnite’s ninth birthday has taken over the game this week, bringing several themed items and quests with it. Among the most prominent of these items are Birthday Cake slices, which you can find across the Fortnite Override map in both Battle Royale and OG modes.

Birthday Cake slices restore health and shields, making them handy consumables during intense matches. At the time of writing, there is also a Fortnite quest that requires you to find and eat a certain number of cake slices, giving you another reason to scour the map for them.

In this article, we cover all the named locations in both Fortnite modes where you can find Birthday Cake slices during the birthday event.

Where to find birthday cake slices in Fortnite Battle Royale

Battle Royale originally had a bug that prevented Birthday Cake slices from spawning on the map, but it has since been fixed. You can now find Birthday Cakes at the seven named locations listed below. There are eight cakes in total, as two can be found in and around Stone Sanctum.

Interestingly, the cakes appear to be spread fairly evenly across the map.

Where to find birthday cake slices in Fortnite OG

Compared with Battle Royale, Fortnite OG has a few more locations where you can find Birthday Cake slices. However, the cakes are concentrated in the western, central, and southern parts of the map rather than being evenly distributed.

Keep in mind that Birthday Cakes are limited-time items and will remain available in Fortnite only until October 1. As a result, the locations containing these cakes are likely to be highly contested. Be sure to scan the area for opponents before approaching a cake, and watch your surroundings while your character eats it.
