Phantom Blade Zero is bringing its protagonist Soul to Fortnite alongside two themed cosmetics. Here's how to get the outfit through the Epic Games Store and when it reaches the Item Shop.
Phantom Blade Zero, one of 2026’s most promising games, has collaborated with Epic Games to make its protagonist, Soul, available as a Fortnite skin. This team-up comes just a couple of months ahead of the action-RPG title’s release on October 29, 2026.
The Phantom Blade Zero x Fortnite collab was first revealed on August 11, the same day on which the wuxia game’s pre-orders kicked off for PC and PS5 users. Unlike other platforms and storefronts, if you buy the forthcoming game on the Epic Games Store at any point of time, you also instantly get the Soul outfit for Fortnite. Importantly, the game is priced at $59.99 (₹4,299), with its Digital Deluxe Edition variant retailing for $69.99 (₹5,199).
After you complete the purchase, besides the Soul outfit, you will get two additional themed cosmetics in Fortnite. These are the Sanguine pickaxe and the Sanguine back bling, which round out the Phantom Blade Zero set.
Moreover, those who prefer to buy the game on a different platform or don’t want to buy the game at all can also get the Soul outfit. From October 29 to November 5 (Phantom Blade Zero launch week), the game’s cosmetics will go live in the Item Shop for players to buy using V-Bucks.
Similar to Phantom Blade Zero, Epic has partnered with some of the most popular games in 2026 to bring more game characters to Fortnite as skins. These titles include widely acclaimed AAA hits such as Resident Evil: Requiem and indie darlings such as Dave the Diver.
Following are some of the skins emerging from a newer lineup of such collabs that the Tim Sweeney-led company has announced in 2026 so far. All these items are bundled bonuses that are unlocked once you purchase the respective game on the Epic Games Store or make a qualifying in-game purchase in the case of free-to-play live-service titles available on the client.
While the Epic Games Store still trails Steam by a sizable margin when it comes to total user base, the special perks the storefront provides, such as free Fortnite outfits with partner titles, are something worth praising. Not only do they provide a fair amount of incentive for players to make purchases on Epic’s client, but they also act as a way to promote partnered games via Fortnite, one of the most played games in the world.
FAQs
Upon purchasing Phantom Blade Zero via the store, you will automatically unlock the Soul outfit, the Sanguine pickaxe, and the Sanguine back bling.
As long as you are using the same Epic Games Store account that you used to pre-order the game, you will be able to use the skin across all platforms where Fortnite is available.
The Soul outfit can be claimed in Fortnite as a freebie with Phantom Blade Zero’s purchase as long as the latter game is still available on the PC storefront. Hence, it can be interpreted as a permanent offer.
