Is Ice Spice coming to Fortnite? Leaks, skins, release date, and more

Courtesy of recent leaks, there is growing anticipation around Ice Spice’s imminent arrival in Fortnite. The popular American rapper is expected to join as part of the second wave of Fortnite’s collaboration with the SpongeBob SquarePants IP, which is centered around 2025’s The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants.

Once this content update is officially confirmed, Ice Spice will become the fifth singer to be added to Fortnite in 2026. Previous additions this year have included her contemporaries such as Chappell Roan, Laufey, and Olivia Rodrigo.

Ice Spice Fortnite skin leaked

As shared by renowned leakers Shiina and HYPEX, Ice Spice looks set to land in Fortnite via a SpongeBob SquarePants promo. The leaks reveal an Ice Spice skin, an umbrella pickaxe, an emote inspired by her viral “Big Guy” song, and a back bling modeled around the character she voiced in the 2025 animated film. Moreover, all these items will also be available in the Ice Spice bundle.

At the time of writing, this collab hasn’t yet been announced or even teased by Fortnite. However, Shiina suggests that the confirmation could arrive as soon as July 22, ahead of this week’s Twitch Drops.

All SpongeBob cosmetics in Fortnite leaked so far

Apart from Ice Spice, the leaks thus far have revealed that the upcoming SpongeBob SquarePants partnership would also bring Patrick Star into the mix. More specifically, Patrick seems poised to be added as a sidekick, along with three different styles: cel-shaded, gradient, and pirate. Additionally, the beloved character is also set to get two different emotes.

A few other SpongeBob SquarePants-related items that have also surfaced are the jellyfish back bling, the ice cream back bling, and the jellyfish net pickaxe. This takes the count of leaked content from the forthcoming Fortnite collab to ten, excluding bundles.

Wrapping up

Thanks to the popularity of SpongeBob and Ice Spice, along with the fact that the “Big Guy” song was a viral sensation last year, this collab has all the favorable conditions to turn out successful. Besides that, whether or not this team-up also leads to new in-game events or possibly new sprites is something only time will tell.
