How to find Yeat in Fortnite and unlock a free jam track

The Fortnite x Yeat collaboration arrived during Fortnitemares 2026, bringing cosmetics inspired by the American rapper and a special Battle Royale quest. While most Yeat-themed items require V-Bucks, you can unlock one reward for free by completing his in-game challenge.

The quest, called Unreleased Music, tasks you with finding five bells around Yeat’s location and returning them to him. Complete it to earn the Heliman Jam Track without purchasing the Yeat outfit or spending V-Bucks.

The quest is tied to Chapter 7 Season 4, which is scheduled to end on November 1, 2026. If you want to claim the free track, here’s where to find Yeat in Fortnite and how to complete his quest.

Finding Yeat in Fortnite Battle Royale is rather convenient because his location is essentially marked by a tall tower that is hard to miss. This structure is situated on the snow-capped hills, which are to the north of Reality’s Reign and to the east of Nitemare Neighborhood.

Upon reaching the location, you need to check the area at the base of the tower. There is a van right under the structure, near which you will find the Yeat NPC roaming around. To kick off the quest, you just have to approach him and hit the respective button prompt to interact.

How to complete Yeat quest in Fortnite

1. Interact with Yeat and select the Unreleased Music dialogue option.
2. Keep selecting the text bubble option to proceed with the dialogue until the NPC finishes.
3. As soon as that interaction finishes, you will have to collect 5 bells within about three minutes, placed at random spots in and around the tower itself.
   
4. Once you find a bell, press and hold the interact button to retrieve it.
5. At last, after collecting all the bells, head back to Yeat, interact, and select the “I just heard Heliman” chat option to complete the quest and unlock the Heliman Jam Track.
   

Once you’ve completed the quest, the Heliman Jam Track should be added to your Locker. Open the Locker and navigate to the Jam Tracks section to find Heliman by Yeat. You can then equip it and use it in supported Fortnite music experiences.

Fortnite and its NPC quests

For instance, Fortnite has previously introduced characters such as Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn, along with special encounters involving bosses. During the ongoing Fortnitemares event, Freddy Krueger has also appeared as a boss players can defeat for in-game rewards.

However, Yeat’s Unreleased Music quest takes a different approach. Instead of fighting a boss or surviving an intense encounter, you simply need to locate five bells and return them to the rapper. It’s a relatively straightforward challenge that gives players a free Jam Track without requiring a V-Bucks purchase.
