iOS 27 developer beta 7 is now available with build 24A5424a. Apple is still refining Siri AI and the wider feature set ahead of the fall launch.
Apple has released iOS 27 developer beta 7 as the fall launch gets closer. Apple’s developer release page lists build 24A5424a, dated August 24. Developers enrolled in the beta program can install it from Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates.
The release entry confirms the build but does not call out a major new feature. Beta 7 follows beta 6 from August 17, so this looks like a stability-focused release before the public version arrives.
Apple’s iOS 27 preview puts Siri AI at the center of the update. The rebuilt assistant is designed to handle richer conversations, personal context, onscreen awareness, and actions across apps. Apple is also testing a new Siri interface connected to the Dynamic Island, a dedicated Siri app, and tighter links between Siri, Visual Intelligence, and the Camera app.
The broader Apple Intelligence changes in iOS 27 cover Photos, Safari, Passwords, Mail, Messages, Shortcuts, and other parts of the system. Those are the features that make beta 7 worth following, even if this particular build does not introduce a headline addition.
The wider iOS 27 beta cycle also includes a transparency control for Liquid Glass, faster app and Photos launches, smoother Camera behavior, continuous sending in Messages, Dual Capture in FaceTime, custom EQ for AirPods, easier Apple Pay card switching, new recovery options, and AI-generated wallpapers.
These features belong to the wider iOS 27 release, not necessarily to beta 7 alone. Apple says iOS 27 is coming this fall, while Siri AI will arrive in English later this year. Availability can also vary by iPhone model, language, and region. A Siri AI availability guide explains why installing the beta does not automatically unlock every Siri feature.
Developer beta 7 is meant for testing, not everyday reliability. Bugs, battery drain, app compatibility problems, and unfinished Siri behavior are still possible. If you are not testing an app or building for iOS 27, waiting for the public release is the safer choice.
