Apple’s WWDC 2026 teaser artwork may have just offered an early hint at one of the biggest changes coming to Siri.

According to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, iOS 27 is expected to introduce a redesigned Siri experience that integrates directly with the Dynamic Island. Interestingly, the rumored design lines up closely with the visual style seen in Apple’s official WWDC artwork.

A smarter Siri, built into the Dynamic Island

The new interface could display a “Search or Ask” prompt within the Dynamic Island when Siri is activated. Reports also suggest a glowing cursor effect, similar to the highlight shown in the WWDC teaser visuals.

Apple may also add a subtle glow around the Dynamic Island while Siri is in use, making interactions feel more visually connected to the system. A similar design language is expected to extend to a new, dedicated Siri app in iOS 27.

This app could support ongoing conversations and show past interactions, allowing Siri to feel less like a one-time command tool and more like a continuous assistant you can return to.

However, not all features may be available across all devices. While the Dynamic Island is present on iPhone 14 Pro and newer models, some advanced Siri capabilities could be limited to newer iPhones due to Apple Intelligence requirements.

Apple is set to officially unveil iOS 27 at WWDC 2026, scheduled from June 8 to June 12.

Why this update matters

Bringing Siri into the Dynamic Island feels like a natural evolution. Despite multiple updates over the years, Siri still operates somewhat separately from the rest of the system.

If implemented well, this change could make interactions faster and more seamless, turning Siri into something that feels always available rather than something you manually trigger.

The more significant shift, though, could be the rumored Siri app with conversation history. That alone has the potential to change how people use Siri day to day, moving it closer to a persistent, context-aware assistant.

Of course, everything depends on reliability. A fresh interface can improve the experience, but consistency in responses will ultimately determine whether users stick with it.
