After months of rumors, The Simpsons finally looks set to return to Fortnite, as teased by the game’s official social media account. On July 23, a video about this highly awaited collaboration was shared, enthusing fans of the animated sitcom.

Although similarly popular franchises debuted in Fortnite years ago, The Simpsons first landed in the online title rather recently, in late 2025. The highlight of that collab was the Springfield map, which replaced the default one for a month in Battle Royale. It also packed various relevant skins inspired by pivotal characters like Homer Simpson, along with other themed cosmetics and in-game events.

Fortnite x Simpsons teaser breakdown

The six-second clip of the Fortnite x Simpsons collab provides a bird’s-eye-view glimpse at the returning Springfield map, first introduced in November 2025 during Chapter 6. Unlike the last time, Springfield Island seems to be coming to Fortnite Reload instead of Battle Royale, as indicated by the text at the beginning of the teaser. The post also mentions Bart, Lisa, and Krusty the Clown, who will probably be added as skins. Importantly, everything that’s part of the latest collab has been confirmed to be unveiled on July 29.

Notably, the opening moments show a Slurp Co. blimp-powered Battle Bus, a fictional beverage company specifically developed for Fortnite’s collab with The Simpsons last year. It is responsible for manufacturing Slurp, a Fortnite audience-friendly replacement for the long-running sitcom’s alcoholic beverage named Duff Beer.

In the comments, several fans expressed excitement over the return of Springfield and fan-favorite character, Krusty the Clown, in Fortnite. While some fans requested new Simpsons-themed items for the forthcoming content drop, others shared their interest in a new Fortnite mini-season based on the animated show.
