Apple introduced its latest subscription service, Apple Fitness+, powered by Apple Watch. Labeled as a new fitness experience by Apple, Fitness+ offers workouts from the best trainers globally. Well, the subscription sure looks promising; let’s put our workout shoes on and know more about its compatibility, sign-up process, and more, shall we?
Apple Fitness+ is a subscription-based service that offers different kinds of workout and training sessions to cater to every body type. It is designed to work with Apple Watch and can be accessed from iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV (Yes, that too!). You can operate the app from your preferred device, while Apple Watch keeps track of your fitness progress, monitors your heart rate, calories, etc.
Fitness+ is free for the first three months if you’ve bought an Apple Watch Series 6, SE, or 3, after September 15, 2020. Apple provides a one-month free trial for all its new users, and the subscription can be either canceled or renewed according to your preference later.
The subscription is priced at $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year. It is available for Apple users in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and Ireland. You can also get a family subscription that lets you share with five people.
To use Fitness+, you must meet the following requirements:
If you have the Apple One Premier Bundle, you will not see a sign-up link in the premier bundle. It is automatically available.
Now that you are through with the requirements, let’s quickly jump on to the subscription process and start working out already.
Note: Use your Apple ID to make the purchase. Depending on the Apple Watch purchase date, you’ll have either a one-month free trial or a three-month free trial.
You can follow the same procedure to activate Fitness+ on your iPad. However, you will need to download the Fitness App first. To use Fitness+ on your Apple TV, bring your Apple Watch close to Apple TV, and it will automatically connect to the device. Pretty cool, isn’t it?
Apart from all the kickass workout routines and Apple Watch integrations to track the metrics, Fitness+ also offers Apple Music integration for the fitness+ users so that you can listen to the tracks later sans your workout.
Have you started the workouts already? I am looking forward to your transformation reports and a healthier lifestyle.
